Honma Beres Drivers
Homna Beres drivers aren’t always easy to find, and the company doesn’t sell them directly to the public. But there are a number of models that are good enough to be worth a swing or three from anyone who needs a big addition off the tee.
The Beres MG611 is a lightweight driver, ideal for golfers with slower swing speeds. Its 440c clubhead belies a club that’s light and easy to swing, whipping through the air with a minimal exertion of strength. The high MOI and consistent head speed helps lead to low spin, higher launch angles, and long drives.
The Beres MG711 has a slightly bigger clubhead at 455cc, and it is made up of a Carbonium composite. Its ultra-thin crown increases the forgiveness, and it also offers an increased ball velocity to help gain distance.
Anyone wanting something just a little bit bigger and more advanced can turn to the Beres MG712, a driver that goes all-out with the 460cc oversized head. The clubface here is made of KS120 titanium, a proprietary technology that is designed for maximum velocity. The titanium crown also allows a golfer to reposition discretionary weight as desired to increase forgiveness.
Finally, there’s the Beres MG812. These offer loft-specific head designs, and a bigger clubface that helps off-center shots travel like perfectly-struck ones. Drives are launched with low spin and high trajectory, as pretty as can be produced by any driver on the market.
