Cleveland HiBore Monster XLS Draw Review
It’s often hard to correct a slice off the tee, and once a few early drives sail off to the right and out of bounds it’s hard for any golfer to recover and have an enjoyable round. The Cleveland HiBore Monster XLS Draw is designed to alleviate that tendency to slice, and keep more balls heading down the middle of the desired fairway instead of the one on an adjoining hole.
The HiBore Monster XLS Draw is part of the series that also includes the HiBore Monster XLS and the HiBore Monster XLS Tour. All start with Cleveland’s largest hitting face ever, promoting forgiveness and stability. That is further augmented by a series of weights on the sides and rear of the clubhead, totaling 24 grams and improving the location of the club’s center of gravity.
The geometry of the clubhead produces optimal launch conditions and generates higher ball speeds upon impact, increasing carry distance.
In addition, the HiBore Monster XLS Draw has a face closed by three degrees, and its slightly offset design and overall internal weighting biases the club in favor of draws. The result is a club that produces high-launch, low-spin drives that stay in the fairway as they soar closer to the hole.
