Titleist 905T Driver Review
The Titleist 905T driver, along with its cousin Titleist 905S, is one of the premier drivers on the market for golfers who want something a little smaller than the usual oversized 460cc clubhead.
It’s a driver that was built to hold its weight more efficiently, with a titanium face insert attached in a way that cuts down the weld material in the face, allowing discretionary weight to be redistributed elsewhere. It generates the ball speed needed to push the ball down the fairway, and it’s also light enough to help increase most golfers’ swing speeds.
In addition, the Titleist 905T has a high launch angle and moderate to low spin. That makes it a good choice for golfers who may not have the swing speed to take advantage of the Titleist 905S’s lower launch angle and boring trajectory. Other contrasts between this club and the Titleist 950S and Titleist 950R models include a deeper face height and a larger front-to-back profile.
Of course, it still has the pear-shaped clubhead that Titleist is known for. More importantly, it has the distance and accuracy as well, and produces a lot of the benefits of an oversize driver in a slightly smaller package.
